Family Disease Model Of Addiction Explained (A practical explanation)

If you have a loved one that struggles with addiction, I bet you've heard the phrase "Addiction is a family disease" either from your therapist, counselor, mentor, etc. But what does that actually mean? Why is that the case and how do you help your loved one and your family get back on track.

In this video, I'll explain how addiction can create a ripple effect through the entire family. While it can be easy to blame the addict or alcoholic, sometimes the family contributes to the continuation of the addiction.

With that said, you(the family) fell apart together, which means you're going to have to rebuild together.
