This is PART 4 of how addicts/alcoholics manipulate their friends and family members.

I call this chapter of How Addicts Manipulate, THE PUFFER FISH! Basically when this happens, the addict/alcoholic is so difficult to deal with, they puff up like a pufferfish with spikes everywhere. The family members back off because they don't want to deal with the drama that is bound to happen. Which is EXACTLY what they(the addict) wants.
